One of the highlights of my trip to Austin for SxSW last year had absolutely nothing to do with the Interactive Conference. That highlight was getting to meet someone that I've been watching on-line for quite some time. My good friend, Kate Buck, Jr. introduced me to the power house that is Ryan Deiss. Naturally, when I met him, I was totally calm, cool, and collected. Not really.
What really happened was that I might have smacked his arm kinda hard and said, a little too loudly, "SHUT UP... you're Ryan Deiss!" Kate disowned me instantly. Well, she didn't actually, but I think she wanted to for about five minutes there. Or at least might have wanted to push me off the balcony. By the time I was stalking him for a picture, she was ready to shove some sushi down my throat and get me the hell out of the party.
Why was I so stoked to meet him? Because this guy is super successful launching products that the good people of the interwebs love. Simple ideas, too. His book about Pinterest is currently the number one Kindle book on the subject. How is he doing this? It's all in the marketing. He markets his products amazingly well. I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to the psychology of sales and marketing, so watching someone do it, and do it well, gets me pretty excited.
I'm even more excited about the product he's marketing this week.
The Great Kindle Challenge
Ryan's launching a new book on Amazon Kindle and he's going to do it live and let viewers see how he promotes it, gives it away and eventually sells it. This is something that I am VERY interested in, and my guess is, you might be, too. His personal goal is 10,000 downloads and 500 real sales within the first month. I'm curious to see how he does it.
And we will get to see how he does it because the whole thing will be played in real time.
Ryan's also giving away a Kindle Fire a day for five days. If you want a chance to win one, CLICK HERE. He's already done this two other times but this time he *thinks* he has all the kinks worked out. IF he succeeds, he will have discovered how to build a micro $1000 a month info businesses out of thin air.
BUT, if he's wrong... hmmm... awkward!
Either way we'll get to see it all live and learn from his
Click here to see if he can pull it off or not:
Once you enter The Great Kindle Challenge (and you should), you'll have instant access to his report, Kindle Publishing Revolution that gives you step-by-step instructions on how to publish your own Kindle eBook.
This should be fun!
