It's Back to School time and you know what that means... NO TIME!!

From Labor Day to New Year's, it's just one big blur. One thing that suffers is dinners with our families. This is when I draw on all kid and time friendly meal ideas. Since you're probably busy filling out your kids' emergency contact form or driving someone to football or cheer practice, I'll help you out.

This is a recipe that The Sugar Babies absolutely love!

Kid Parm

Similar to Chicken Parmesan, but with kid friendly substitutions.

4 Breaded Chicken Patties (I use First St. brand from Smart & Final) 1 jar Barilla Spaghetti Sauce with Mushrooms 1 cup Shredded Jack Cheese

Quick and Colorful Side Dishes

Frozen mixed veggies are easier to swallow when sauteed in butter with a dash of garlic salt. (Sautee 5-10 min)

Bowtie pasta is a fun option to round off a kid friendly dinner. (Boil for 10 min)

Easy Peasy Directions

Following the directions on the package, pre-heat the oven to 400. (While the oven is warming up, boil the bowties below.)

Once the oven is at temperature, put Chicken Patties in. Warm Spaghetti Sauce in small saucepan. Get to work on the veggies (below).

Turn Chicken Patties over at 10 minutes. Check on the pasta. Drain if done. Grab a glass of wine...

5... 4... 3... 2...

DING!!

Pull the Chicken Patties out. Top with Spaghetti Sauce. Sprinkle 1/4 c. of Shredded Jack on each. Serve with sides and VOILA!
