When you think of Southern California, the last thing you think of is snow. While we do have pockets of it in the local mountains for a few weeks at a time, snow isn't something we experience as part of what we call winter here.
But what we're really good at is having fun!
SoCal's newest Winter tradition, WinterFest is back filling our nights with cheer, shows, activities, sweet treats, and REAL SNOW blown in daily for the whole family! There's an outdoor ice skating rink, a petting zoo, nightly fireworks, trains, tree lightings, Mrs. Claus reading stories, and oh my goodness, the world's BIGGEST rocking horse... WHAAAAAAT???
Want to be wowed? Walk through the Festival of Lights where two million lights illuminate the path through ten themed wonderlands.
Looking for a fun family photo? Get snapped in a snow globe!
And what SoCal holiday festival would be complete without Mexican tamales?
There will be lots of Mini-Shows throughout the day to keep the kids entertained, like Thomas & Friends, Angry Birds, Bob the Builder, and Barbie to name a few. But the thing I think most kids, young and old, will be excited about is the Snow Play. How fun would it be to make snow angels without having to take that long drive up to the mountains?
Tickets to WinterFest start at $10, and because I love you so much and want you to have the best holiday season EVER, I am giving away a Family 4-Pack of tickets! Just leave me a comment letting me know what you're most looking forward to seeing at WinterFest.
