If you're not yet in the holiday spirit, here's something that will fast track the feeling for you.
This Sunday, December 18. Mt. High in Wrightwood will host their second annual Santa Sunday!
Starting at 9:00 a.m., skiers and snowboarders dressed in a complete Santa suit (hat, beard, coat, belt and pants) are invited to ski for a purpose. For a $20 minimum donation, Santa skiers and snowboarders will be given a complimentary lift ticket for the entire day. Donations go to Protect Our Winters, a climate advocacy group that's passionate about outdoor sports and the environment.
Located just 90 minutes from Los Angeles and Orange County, Mt. High is SoCal’s closest winter resort. Mt. High consists of three separate mountains: West Resort, East Resort and North Resort. Mountain High offers a wide variety of lifts and trails, a world-class terrain park, an outstanding winter sports school and the region’s largest tubing area... FUN!!!
Night skiing and snowboarding are available seven nights-a-week during peak season and snowmaking covers more than 80 percent of the slopes.
